Bakamla RI Tangkap Kapal Barang Berdokumen Kadaluwarsa

(Humas Bakamla RI).  KAL PANANA I-9-13 yang merupakan salah satu unsur (kapal patroli) dalam Operasi Bakamla RI di wilayah Timur berhasil menangkap kapal barang bernama KM. Y 02 di perairan Teluk Ambon, Maluku, Selasa (05/12/2017).

Penangkapan terhadap kapal barang yang memiliki dokumen sudah habis masa berlaku (kadaluwarsa) sebagaimana mestinya itu berawal saat KAL PANANA I-9-13 yang sedang patroli tiba-tiba melihat gelagat yang janggal dari kapal tersebut. Komandan KAL PANANA I-9-13 Kapten Laut (P) Wahyu Widarta segera memerintahkan kapal tersebut untuk merapat. Setelah kapal motor tersebut merapat, Tim Pemeriksa melaksanakan pemeriksaan baik terhadap kapal, anak buah kapal (ABK), dan muatan serta kelengkapan dokumen.

Dari hasil pemeriksaan awal, ditemukan bahwa Nakhoda KM. Y 02, AW, menunjukan dokumen kapal yang sudah kadaluwarsa, berupa sertifikat keselamatan perlengkapan kapal barang, keselamatan konstruksi kapal barang, keselamatan radio kapal barang, garis muat dan Surat Persetujuan Berlayar (SPB).

Menindaklanjuti hal tersebut, Komandan KAL PANANA I-9-13 melakukan koordinasi dengan Kabid Penyelenggara Operasi Bakamla RI Kolonel Laut (P) Imam Hidayat. Selanjutnya, kapal tersebut diperintahkan untuk menurunkan barang muatan berupa barang kebutuhan pokok fan hasil kebun. Selain itu, kapal beserta 8 orang ABK dibawa menuju Dermaga Bakamla RI Halong, Ambon untuk diserahkan kepada Pangkalan Bakamla Zona Maritim Timur guna penyelesaian perkara lebih lanjut. 

Kepala Kantor Kamla Zona Maritim Timur Vetty Vionna Salakay, S.H., M.Si., didampingi Kabid Inhuker Zona Maritim Timur Bakamla RI Julius M. Aponno, SH., turut terjun ke lapangan untuk inspeksi kapal saat tiba di pangkalan.
