Betawipost.co.id-jakarta.Deputy Force Commander Unifil (United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon) Mayor Jenderal Shivaram Kharel didampingi beberapa Perwira Staf Unifil, baru-baru ini melaksanakan kunjungan kerja ke Pos-pos Satgas Batalyon Mekanis TNI Konga XXIII-L/Unifil atau Indobatt (Indonesian Battalion) di Lebanon.
 
Kunjungan kerja Jenderal Unifil asal negara Nepal tersebut dalam rangka melihat secara langsung pos-pos yang dijaga oleh Prajurit TNI Satgas Indobatt Konga XXIII-L/Unifil misi perdamaian PBB yang berada di wilayah Lebanon.
 
Kedatangan Jenderal Shivaram Kharelbeserta rombongan di Panorama Point disambut Wadan Satgas Indobatt Mayor Inf Didiet Trilaksono dan beberapa Perwira Staf. Selanjutnya, Jenderal Shivaram Kharel meninjau kesiapan Pasukan Garuda dalam bertugas serta melihat spot-spot rawan yang ditempati peacekeepers Indobatt.
 
Setelah meninjau Panorama Point, Deputy Force Commander Unifil beserta rombongan melihat situasi di TP 37, TP 36 dan UN Pos 9-63, dilanjutkan ke TP 35, B 78 dan BP 34.
 
Dalam setiap kesempatan kunjungannya, Jenderal Shivaram Kharel mengatakan sangat terkesan dengan penyambutan Pasukan Garuda Indobatt dan mengungkapkan bahwa Indonesia kaya akan seni budaya. “Ini merupakan nilai plus prajurit Indobatt, semua negara yang tergabung dalam penugasan Unifil mengakuinya. Mereka profesional, humanis dan disukai masyarakat setempat,” ungkapnya.
 
“Saya berpesan, dalam pelaksanaan tugas, jaga sikap imparsial kalian, pegang teguh standar operasional yang telah ditetapkan UN (United Nations),” kata Jenderal Shivaram Kharel.
 
Setelah meninjau semua titik-titik rawan tersebut, Deputy Force Commander Unifil Mayor Jenderal Shivaram Kharel didampingi Wadan Satgas Indobatt Mayor Inf Didiet Trilaksono beserta rombongan menuju Markas Indobatt UN Posn 7-1 Adshit Al Qusayr, Lebanon Selatan, disambut dengan penampilan kesenian tradisional Indonesia yaitu Tari Pasambahan, Seni Barongan, Seni Tek-Tek dan Reog Ponorogo.
 
Kunjungan Jenderal Shivaram Kharel ke Satgas Batalyon Mekanis TNI Konga XXIII-L/Unifil diakhiri dengan tukar menukar cindera mata dalam bentuk plakat dan foto bersama.(madinah)
