Panglima TNI Courtesy Call Dengan FCHM UNIFIL
Jakarta-Betawipost.co.id,Panglima TNI Marsekal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto, S.I.P. melaksanakan Courtesy Call dengan Force Commander And Head Of Mission Of The United Nations Interim Force In Lebanon (FCHM UNIFIL) Major General Michael Beary, bertempat di Force Commander Building, Naqoura, Lebanon, kemarin.
Dalam kunjungan Panglima TNI di dampingi Duta Besar Luar Biasa dan Berkuasa Penuh Republik Indonesia untuk Lebanon H.E. Mr. Achmad Chozin Chumaidy, Asintel Panglima TNI Mayjen TNI Benny Indra Pujihastono, S.I.P., Aslog Panglima TNI Laksda TNI Ir. Bambang Naryono, M.M., Kapuspen TNI Mayjen TNI M. Sabrar Fadhilah, Dan PMPP TNI Brigjen TNI Victor Hasudungan Simatupang , M.Bus, Waasops Panglima TNI Marsma TNI Khairil Lubis dan Penasehat Militer Perwakilan Tetap Republik Indonesia (Penmil pada PTRI PBB) Brigjen TNI Fulad, S.Sos., M.Si.
Pada kesempatan tersebut, Marsekal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih atas sambutan hangat dan dukungan yang diberikan Force Commander selama kunjungan kerja Panglima TNI dan rombongan pada saat mengunjungi Kontingen Garuda di Lebanon dan UNIFIL. Panglima TNI juga mengapresiasi kepemimpinan Force Commander yang selama ini dapat mengendalikan misi UNIFIL dengan baik.
Panglima TNI juga menyampaikan telah meninjau daerah operasi Indobatt di Sector East, tepatnya di UNP 7-1 dan daerah patrol Indobatt di Panorama Point (dekat Blue Line). Panorama Point sebagai salah satu daerah di wilayah perbatasan yang digunakan dalam melaksanakan tugasobservasi dan pengamanan.
Lebih lanjut Marsekal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto menyampaikan bahwa Kontingen Garuda Satgas Indobatt terlibat dalam memberikan dukungan pelayanan kesehatan kepada masyarakat lokal Lebanon disekitar daerah operasi Indobatt. Panglima TNI juga mengharapkan UNIFIL dapat memfasilitasi tambahan berupa tenaga medis, khususnya dokter gigi (dentist) dan peralatan medis di ambulans bagi Indobatt dalam rangka memberikan dukungan pelayanan kesehatan kepada masyarakat.
Panglima TNI menambahkan dalam rangka mendukung Satgas MTF di KRI Usman Harun-359 pada kegiatan operasi akan segera diwujudkan dukungan helikopter dalam waktu dekat.
Pada kesempatan yang sama, Force Commander Major General Michael Beary menyambut baik kunjungan kerja Panglima TNI beserta rombongan dalam meninjau Kontingen Garuda diantaranya Satgas Indobatt dan Satgas MTF. Lebih lanjut Force Commander UNIFIL menyampaikan bahwa kontingen TNI telah menjadi bagian integral dari UNIFIL.
Major General Michael Beary juga menambahkan bahwa selama ini semua unsur Kontingen Garuda yang tergabung dalam Satgas maupun Staff Officer di UNIFIL HQ telah mampu bekerjasama dengan kontingen pasukan perdamaian dari negara lain dalam mendukung misi UNIFIL.(madinah)
