Panglima TNI : Pemutaran Film G 30 S/PKI Untuk Mengingatkan Seluruh Anak Bangsa

(Puspen TNI). Pemutaran Film Gerakan 30 September Partai Komunis Indonesia (G 30S/PKI), adalah untuk mengingatkan kepada seluruh anak bangsa dan generasi muda, jangan sampai peristiwa yang sama terulang kembali karena sangat menyakitkan.
Hal tersebut dikatakan Panglima TNI Jenderal TNI Gatot Nurmantyo didampingi Kasad Jenderal TNI Mulyono, Kasal Laksamana TNI Ade Supandi dan Kasau Marsekal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto dihadapan wartawan, usai melakukan ziarah di makam Bung Karno bertempat di Jl. Candi Surawana No. 10, Bendogerit, Blitar, Jawa Timur, Senin (18/9/2017).
Menurut Jenderal TNI Gatot Nurmantyo, pemutaran Film G 30 S/PKI dalam rangka menyebarluaskan fakta-fakta nilai sejarah bagi seluruh anak bangsa, khususnya generasi muda Indonesia. “Saya tidak berpolemik dan hanya meneruskan sejarah yang terjadi saat itukepada generasi muda, kalau menurut sejarah tidak boleh, mau jadi apa bangsa ini,” ujarnya.
Pada kesempatan tersebut, Panglima TNI Jenderal TNI Gatot Nurmantyo menyampaikan bahwa Presiden RI pertama Bung Karno pernah mengatakan, jangan lupa Jas Merah (Jangan Sesekali Melupakan Sejarah) dan jangan lupa jasa-jasa para Pahlawan.
Lebih lanjut Panglima TNI menyatakan bahwa tujuan pemutaran Film G 30 S/PKI bukan untuk mendiskreditkan siapa yang salah dan bukan untuk menumbuhkan dendam, tetapi memberikan gambaran jangan sampai peristiwa yang pahit dan hitam tersebut terjadi lagi. “Sekarang ini berita hoax macam-macam, jangan sampai generasi muda kita terpengaruh dan terkotak-kotak lagi yang akhirnya bisa terjadi seperti peristiwa kelam,” katanya.
Ditambahkan oleh Panglima TNI bahwa pemutaran Film G 30 S/PKI juga untuk mengingatkan kepada generasi muda dan prajurit-prajurit TNI agar tidak melupakan sejarah. “Jangan sampai kejadian yang sama terulang kembali, semuanya sangat menyakitkan dan banyak korban. Untuk itu, seluruh anak bangsa generasi muda harus tahu bahwa bangsa kita pernah punya sejarah yang hitam,” tuturnya.
“Dengan menyaksikan Film G 30 S/PKI, hendaknya jangan sampai terprovokasi dan terpengaruh. Untuk itu, mari kita meningkatkan persatuan dan kesatuan supaya tidak terulang lagi peristiwa yang menyedihkan itu,” harapnya.
