Penyelamatan Nelayan Muncar Tutup Rangkaian Water Rescue Sukarela Bakamla RI

Betawipost.co.id,Jakarta,Dengan menggunakan peralatan lengkap, nelayan Muncar melakukan aksi penyelamatan terhadap korban kapal “Harmoni” yang terbalik di laut Muncar Banyuwangi, Sabtu, 28 April 2018.

Aksi penyelamatan itu dilakukan dalam simulasi yang digelar sebagai bagian dari rangkaian pelatihan water rescue sukarela oleh Badan Keamanan Laut (Bakamla RI) bersama Badan SAR Nasional (Basarnas).

Dalam skenario tersebut, terjadi musibah kapal nelayan terbalik yang menyebabkan korban ada yang selamat, sadar dan tidak sadar.

Kapal nelayan “harmoni” terdiri dari 10 ABK dimana 8 ABK di nyatakan selamat sedangkan 2 ABK lainnya dinyatakan hilang di laut Muncar Banyuwangi.

Saat kejadian berlangsung, terdapat keluarga korban yang berteriak “pak tolong tolong bapak saya, selamatkan pak, cepat pak”. Teriakan itu menjadi panggilan terhadap kelompok nelayan yang berada di lokasi kejadian untuk memberikan pertolongan dengan sigap.

Dalam skenario tersebut, terlihat satu kelompok berjumlah 6 orang sudah membagi tugas setiap personelnya. Ada yang berperan sebagai penenang keluarga korban, ada yang menyiapkan perahu karet, ada yang menyiapkan perlengkapan kapal dan peralatan pertolongan untuk korban dilaut. Salah seorang anggota kelompok berperan menanyakan ciri ciri korban yang hilang kepada keluarga, seperti nama, baju terakhir yang dipakai, dan ciri-ciri khas yang dimiliki korban.

Melalui pelatihan ini peserta yang sehari hari bekerja sebagai nelayan diuji kemampuannya berkomunikasi menghadapi reaksi keluarga korban yang berbeda beda dan bagaimana cara menenangkan keluarga korban.

Simulasi dilanjutkan dengan menguji keterampilan nelayan dalam memberikan pertolongan di laut, antara lain bagaimana mengangkat korban yang tidak sadar dan korban sadar, teknik melempar ring boy, teknik pemasangan tali Y strap, teknik penggeseran korban ditandu dan teknik pemasangan collar neck.

Sesampai ditepi pantai peserta mempraktekkan teknik pengangkatan korban dengan tandu LSB (long spine board), dan juga teknik Resusitasi Jantung Paru (RJP) sebelum bantuan ambulans datang.

Simulasi kejadian yang sama juga dipraktekkan oleh dua kelompok lainnya. Setiap simulasi langsung dievaluasi oleh pelatih dari Basarnas.

Simulasi pertolongan korban ini menandakan sebagai akhir rangkaian kegiatan pelatihan water rescue Bakamla RI yang digelar sejak Selasa (24/4). Pelatihan ditutup oleh Tri Rah Astuti, S.E, Kasi Potensi Keselamatan Bakamla RI.

Kami mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Dinas Perikanan dan Pangan yang telah mengijinkan penggunaan lokasi pelatihan, Kepala BPBD yang telah menyediakan tenda, Tim Basarnas yang sudah merelakan waktu untuk melatih para nelayan dengan sepenuh hati dan warga masyarakat sekitar pantai Muncar. Diharapkan hasil dari pelatihan ini para peserta dapat mensosialisasikan kepada rekan-rekan nelayan dan relawan lainnya, dapat membantu mendukung instansi lainnya seperti Basarnas dalam pencarian dan pertolongan pada saat terjadi kecelakaan dilaut serta diharapkan dapat berkelanjutan dan bekerja sama antara para peserta dan Bakamla dikemudian hari, sehingga nelayan-nelayan dapat menjadi mitra Bakamla di Kabupaten Banyuwangi, ungkapnya.(madinah)
