TNI Dukung Program-Program BKKBN

Sabrar Fadhilah menerima audiensi Pelaksana Tugas (Plt) Kepala Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) dr. Sigit Priohutomo, MPH beserta staf, bertempat di Kantor Subden Mabes TNI, Jl. Merdeka Barat, Jakarta Pusat, Selasa (27/3/2018).
Dalam audiensinya, Plt. Kepala BKKBN dr. Sigit Priohutomo menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih dengan berkenannya Panglima TNI Marsekal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto menerima kunjungannya dan sekaligus menjelaskan program-program BKKBN yang diharapkan dapat bersinergi dengan program TNI, terutama terkait dengan percepatan program Kependudukan, Keluarga Berencana dan Pembangunan Keluarga (KKBPK). “Utamanya terkait program peningkatan pendidikan bagi kaum wanita, karena wanita (Ibu) memegang peranan penting dalam mewujudkan keluarga sejahtera yang berkualitas,” ujarnya.
Pada kesempatan tersebut, dr. Sigit Priohutomo mengatakan bahwa dalam waktu dekat BKKBN bersama TNI akan mengadakan Bakti Sosial Kesehatan dan Sosialisasi Program Keluarga Berencana yang dilaksanakan secara serentak di seluruh Indonesia. Rencananya, pembukaan terpusat diselenggarakan di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara (HSU), Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan pada tanggal 1 Mei 2018 bertepatan dengan Perayaan Hari Jadi Kabupaten HSU.
“Terkait kegiatan tersebut, mohon Bapak Panglima TNI Marsekal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto berkenan hadir dan sekaligus membuka Bakti Sosial Kesehatan dan Sosialisasi Program Keluarga Berencana,” harapnya.
Menyikapi audiensi Plt. Kepala BKKBN, Panglima TNI mengatakan bahwa TNI akan mendukung program-program pemerintah yang dilaksanakan oleh BKKBN, yang juga sejalan dengan tugas-tugas TNI salah satunya Bakti Sosial Kesehatan TNI. “Keikutsertaan TNI dalam program tersebut merupakan keseriusan TNI dalam mendukung program pemerintah untuk mewujudkan masyarakat yang sehat dan sejahtera serta menekan laju pertumbuhan penduduk,” tuturnya.
Menurut Marsekal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto, masalah kependudukan merupakan hal yang harus ditata dan dikelola sedini mungkin dengan baik. “Dengan penduduk yang sejahtera mendorong terwujudnya cita-cita nasional bangsa Indonesia menuju negara yang maju, sejahtera dan berkeadilan,” ucapnya.(madinah)
